In celebration of Long Beach Airport’s (LGB) 100th anniversary, the Arts Council for Long Beach has partnered with LGB, issuing a Call for Art for a three-story visual landmark commemorating the airport’s rich history and Long Beach’s vibrant future.
The temporary vinyl mural will be prominently displayed at the airport entrance to enhance Long Beach’s cultural landscape and greet all who choose to visit the city of Long Beach.

This groundbreaking initiative focuses on telling the stories of LGBTQIA+ Elders through interactive murals that will be placed in all nine (9) City Council Districts.
