About the Mural: “We the Propagators”

Trinh Mai’s mural, “We the Propagators,” will illuminate the rich diversity of Long Beach’s residents, reflecting the harmonious coexistence of our community alongside the native flora and fauna. This mural is a celebration of the various roles we all play as caretakers and cultivators of our environment.

Through this mural, Trinh Mai aims to inspire a sense of unity and purpose. The artwork will serve as a visual reminder of the interconnectedness between human actions and the natural world, highlighting the importance of each individual’s role in promoting a healthy and vibrant community.

Mural Theme

“We the Propagators” focuses on the essential contributions of Long Beach’s inhabitants and the native pollinators in our parks. Like the flora and fauna that pollinate and nurture the land, we, too, spread seeds of wisdom, kindness, hope, and peace within our communities. This mural is a reminder of our shared responsibility to foster growth and cultivate a thriving environment for all.
