Tracey Negrete brings lots of joy to North Long Beach as part of the Uptown Corridor Initiative in the 9th District. The faces of eight children adorn the wall where some smile proudly while others seem a little more timid. The diversity of the children speaks to the diversity that is found in North Long Beach. Tracey’s use of monochrome makes each child’s face pop from the color saturated background making each one the focal point.
