The widely circulated phrase, “No Justice No Peace” has its initial usage dating back to 1986 following the murder of Michael Griffith by a mob of white youth. This phrase is used to protest violence targeted towards Black folk by white folk while drawing attention to the fact that until murderers of Black folk and the police and justice systems are held accountable, there will be no peace.
