Untitled

Bodeck Hernandez

A monochromatic color palette allows Bodeck Hernandez to deliver his message of “Filipinx for Black Lives” as clearly as possible. The bold black background exemplifies the writing written in white that reads, “Educate,” “Organize,” and “Mobilize” creating a call that urges the public to educate themselves on the racial inequality and inequity that Black folk have endured for centuries while calling for the organization and mobilization of the public to aid in the fight for justice. Imagery of a Black Power Fist emerging from a lotus represents the stance of solidarity Filipinx folk have taken to aid Black folk.
