Chance Artworks

An everyday scene of people walking, riding bikes, and enjoying the neighborhood. The scene is meant to highlight diversity in community, and takes place on a grid-like map of the North Pine area. The words “Long Beach” are filled with local landmarks from around the city such as Lions Lighthouse, the Kress Lofts, and the Pine Gateway Sign. This is the first installment of The Downtown Long Beach Alliance’s Neighborhood Map Mural Project.
