Unity – Village Pride with Sights High by Ricardo Mendoza depicts two central figures facing each other as they raise their clasped hands over their heads. Behind, rays of sunshine emanate from a radiant Earth lighting the mural with vibrant stripes. The image of Earth is at the center of multi-colored tree branches and leaves. The trunk is multicolored and the roots split off into red, blue, and green images of Earth. Smaller figures engage in activity on the central figures’ shirts. On the right side of the mural is a fantastical depiction of Earth as a playground with children playing on it
