Unity Monument is an abstract sculpture casted by Patrick Vogel who dedicates this work to the victims of 9/11. As read on the plaque, the work is dedicated to “those who lost their lives and those who lost their loved ones. This monument is a symbol of our nation’s renewed strength and unity, blending five separate metals (stainless steel, brass, copper, copper-nickel, and nickel) to form a sculpture representing our nation’s diversity. The monument faces the East Coast as a tribute.”
