Mobile Art

John Banks

Mobile Art, by John Banks, is a linear sculpture that changes its visual identity as one moves around it. From one view it is readable as text and from other views it is abstract. The abstract sculpture made of turreted pipe is approximately 8′ tall. The new entry plaza at McBride Park is an ideal location for Mobile Art as it allows the art to be viewed from all directions and complements the architecture of the new Teen Center.
