Support Arts Education and Tourism in Long Beach

The Arts Council for Long Beach was established by the City Council in 1976 to foster creativity and culture, enliven communities and enable a thriving creative economy. Our vision is to help create a vibrant arts scene that makes Long Beach a premiere destination for residents, artists, businesses, students and visitors. Therefore, we invited candidates to respond to the following questions to  help voters better understand their views about public policy as it affects a thriving arts environment for Long Beach.  Responses are available to media partners, subscribers, supporters, partner arts organizations and all of our grantees.

We reached out to all candidates and requested they answer several questions regarding their views on arts and culture in the City of Long Beach. We are providing the answers from those candidates who responded to our request for information. If you are a candidate and would like to submit responses, please email info@artslb.org
