We are excited to feature Ashley Corbin-Teich as this weeks Port PHOTO alumni feature! Ashley is a photographer, art director and writer who makes commercial, editorial and fine art work. She is a storyteller who uses her art practice to explore, understand, connect and communicate. Ashley is inspired by nature, people, design, architecture, food, light, texture and the dance of daily life. She comes from a background of theater, performance and multimedia art practices and is especially interested in the intersection of fiction and non-fiction and both creating and telling stories. Lately she has been taking graphic design classes and delving back into more multimedia work such as bookmaking and learning sustainable building techniques, which get her off the computer and allow her to get her hands dirty and on physical things.
