On Saturday, June 8 from 5–10 p.m.the Arts Council for Long Beach will be leading the effort to activate the East Village through the LB Artwalk. Artists and art enthusiasts alike can walk the route of their choice which expands 7 city blocks with 6 Galleries, 21 Murals, and 30 businesses.
The Arts Council will be activating the East Village Arts Park in collaboration with ART REALM, a Long Beach based artist collective. In the spirit of summer the park will be filled with vibrant visual art, interactive experiences, great music and even better vibes. Performances by Dre’es, Hannah Got Raps, DJ Flaca Lee and DJ CJ. Featured artists include Monica Laudiano, Triniry, B. Loved, Silverstreetz, Karini Vasquez, Abril Delgado and Mara Bubblegum. The LB Artwalk and programming at the East Village Arts Park takes place from 5–10 p.m.

The Arts Council is excited to announce a partnership with Tour LBC, an app that provides interactive self-guided tours connecting people with the art, history and culture of Long Beach. Launched in the summer of 2017, the app started with
four tours and Tour LBC will be releasing its tenth tour this weekend for the
LB Artwalk. Visitors can now conveniently view the newest art walk map as a
tour in the palm of their hand. The app is now free to the public thanks to initial community support and recently secured sponsorship. Tour LBC is available on Google Play and the App Store. Download today and start exploring.
