Afro-Brazilian Dance Class in Dança Afro

October 26 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Join us for a FREE Afro-Brazilian dance class featuring the dynamic Mestre Luiz Badaró and Virginia Marrin! Immerse yourself in the vibrant energy of Danca Afro and explore the rich traditions and rhythms of Afro-Brazilian culture.

Luiz Badaró is a master dancer, choreographer, percussionist, and educator with over 35 years of experience performing across the globe. As the Co-Artistic Director of Viver Brasil, Luiz’s intoxicating choreography is deeply rooted in the cultural and artistic vitality of Salvador, Bahia. His work is hailed by the Los Angeles Times as “Brazilian to the core,” and his influence remains the heartbeat of Viver Brasil.

Virginia Marrin is a versatile dance educator with a BA in Dance from CSULB and over two decades of teaching experience. A long-time student of Luiz Badaró, Ginny blends her expertise in modern dance forms with African diaspora styles, from Dancehall and Hip Hop to traditional Congolese, Guinean, and Brazilian dance.

Space is limited—register now to secure your spot! Don’t miss this opportunity to move, learn, and celebrate the powerful heritage of Afro-Brazilian dance. Link is also in Bio.

Thank you to Esencia Flamenco of Long Beach for providing the space
