The Southern California Soundscape Ensemble (SCSE) will be sharing sound work and field recordings of the Los Angeles River in Long Beach on Saturday, July 21 at 5 p.m. at The Collaborative in response to the themes of Flow | Obstruction. SCSE seeks to foster a more personal and intimate engagement with our sonic environment by performing unrehearsed, completely improvised soundscapes using unprocessed field recordings gathered from places all over the world. The flexible membership of SCSE has includes: Glenn Bach, J.Frede, Shea M Gauer, Jorge Martin, Alan Nakagawa, Joseph Richard Negro, Jasmine Orpilla, Albert Ortega, Scott A. Peterson, Michael Raco-Rands, Marco Schindelmann, and Angela Willcocks.
