LBO is hiring a full-time Development Associate! The Development Associate plays an important role by providing administrative support to the development department and participating in all fundraising activities including donor cultivation, direct appeals, grants, and special events. This position will take lead in planning and executing the institutional funding channels including government grants, foundations, and corporate sponsorships in partnership with the Head of Development & Philanthropy. The Development Associate will be in charge of managing a comprehensive grants calendar, researching grant opportunities, writing proposals for both unrestricted operating revenue and restricted projects, and for submitting timely and accurate reports for all existing grant funded projects. Additionally, the position will be responsible for managing the development department’s side of LBO’s donor database. This means accurately inputting all contributions and pledges, preparing transmittals for contributions to the finance department, regularly updating all departments on donations received, generating acknowledgement letters, and providing accurate reports of all fundraising activity in the donor database.
