Sea Grass

Barbara Grygutis

The artist has created a large-scale public sculpture that incorporates three freestanding structures that capture the ebb and flow of ocean sea grass. The armature of this 30′ artwork, created from frames made of aluminum tubing, supports the perforated sheetmetal exterior of the piece. This structure becomes an integral visual component of the artwork, which is illuminated at night to create a beacon of light on the Ocean Boulevard corridor.
