Metro and Bat Ray

Hataya Tubtim

The Pacific Electric Railway right-of-way that once connected Long Beach to Los Angeles, up until 1961, was partially followed by the construction of the Metro Blue Line (now known as the A-Line) that was inaugurated in 1990. Like the Metro, the Bat Ray glides on its path to its destination as if with no effort. Their pectoral fins expose buried prey lurking on the ocean floor.
