Pratt Institute’s Fine Arts Department offers a residency program that awards accomplished professional artists a private studio space located on our Brooklyn campus. Visual artists with a demonstrated commitment to their artistic practice who will benefit from a month-long studio residency are encouraged to apply. Our Studio Residency Program is intended to support artists by providing the time and space necessary to make work.
There are two studio residencies available. One is for a New York area artist (no accommodation provided) and one for an artist living and working in the U.S.A. (apartment provided). Residencies are for the month of July, the two selected artists will be in residence alongside a Pratt Fine Art faculty member. The three residency studios are located in East Hall, artists-in-residence will also have shared use of East Hall Gallery. Deadline to apply is 5pm, February 15, 2018.
