The Mantel Gallery is excited to announce our next show featuring artist Cache.
Cache is a Los Angeles based Artist and Community Advocate whose vibrant work has been making waves for over 30 years. Renowned for his graffiti art, Cache is particularly famous for his whimsical “chickens” characters, which can be spotted throughout the city and beyond. Recently, he has expanded his creative repertoire to include diorama installations in public spaces and miniature-scale paintings. A self-taught artist, Cache’s passion for art has taken him around the globe, allowing him to paint in various countries and share his experiences through talks and symposiums at prestigious institutions, including Brown University, CSUN, UCLA, and ArtCenter College of Design. His thought-provoking discussions often center on community activism and the impact of art on society. Cache’s installations have graced notable music festivals, such as the Coachella Arts and Music Festival, and he had the unique opportunity to paint for Roger Waters’ “The Wall” concert in Romania, further solidifying his international presence.
Beyond his artistic endeavors, Cache is an avid outdoors enthusiast who lives and breathes mountain biking. He actively collaborates with organizations and non-profits to promote the benefits of cycling, advocating for a healthier lifestyle and environmental awareness. With a career marked by creativity, community involvement, and a love for adventure, Cache continues to inspire and engage audiences through his art and activism.
