The Honorable Evan Anderson Braude is an attorney and former Long Beach City Councilmember. He grew up in Los Angeles, the son of a congressman. His civil and human rights work includes being a founding member of Bet Tzedek Legal Services formed to provide free legal services for those in need. As a councilmember, Braude introduced housing and employee protections for the LGBTQ+ community members and people with AIDS.
