This evening will display the magnetic allure of the multifaceted virtuoso, Arturo Sandoval. Renowned for his mastery in the realms of both jazz and classical music, Sandoval’s ten GRAMMY Awards and his expansive repertoire as a trumpeter, vocalist, storyteller, and composer ensure a captivating performance.

Repertoire includes Adam Schoenberg’s Cool Cat (about P22), Gershwin’s Cuban Overture, Sandoval Concerto for Trumpet No. 2, Hindemith’s Symphonic Metamorphosis, and Rachmaninoff’s Themes from Piano Concerto No. 2 (arr. Bob Barrett).

At 6:30PM, audiences can take part in the Pre-Concert Talk with Arturo and Music Director Eckart Preu, as well as enjoy the Terrace Theater’s dazzling fountains and fire pits, live ensemble in the lobby, and the ability to “Sip & Enjoy” in the concert hall. Doors open at 6PM.
