KONTRAPUNKTUS returns to the Long Beach on March 28th with its newest classical production, “IL NUOVO ORFEO: The Legacy of Arcangelo Corelli.” Our production will feature the remarkable talent of violin soloist, Aubree Oliverson, performing along with this world-class group of musicians.

Besides featuring one of Corelli’s beloved pieces, Kontrapunktus will be performing exquisite works from several composers who either studied under Corelli or composed opuses in his honor. These composers include George Frideric Handel, Jean-Baptiste Barrière, Francesco Geminiani, Jean-Marie Leclair, and Antonio Vivaldi.

This musical extravaganza promises to be as poignant, riveting and indelible as previous Kontrapunktus concerts. It’s a can’t miss event!
