ArtBeats: Community Love in Action sparks community-driven conversations that increase connection, civic engagement and creativity. Participants will activate their inner power through creativity and reflection to foster individual, interpersonal and collective change.
This event will be held at Sura Korean BBQ & Tofu House Restaurant – Long Beach in collaboration with DreamOut People’s Project .
This workshop encourages participants to :

experiment and grow their imagination
build community
share knowledge and resources
A fundamental part of the DreamOut experience is the DreamBox. It’s an activity that blends oral history, creative writing, and visual art in order to foster resilience, growth and change. We will have a chance to begin our own DreamBoxes that day.
At the end of the ArtsBeats workshop, participants will have an “Individualized Dream Plan” and a “Group Dream Plan” that will encourage them to continue their ‘dreamwork’ beyond the workshop.
