The Arts Council for Long Beach and Councilmember Roberto Uranga invite you to Empower Arts, on Saturday, May 5, 2018, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Gold Star Manor. Join us as we celebrate arts education and veteran creativity through visual and performing arts.

The event includes special performances by Martin Espino, The Rock Club – Music is the Remedy and Gold Star Voices Choir. Enjoy visual art by Living Arts Students at United Cambodian Community, a visual art display by Centro Cha, and musical instruments by students participating in Empower Arts.

The program, Empower Arts, is funded by a grant from the California Arts Council Artists in Schools: Activating Communities and through the California Community Foundation. The program is in partnership with the City of Long Beach, Centro C.H.A., Century Villages at Cabrillo, Councilmember Roberto Uranga, HomeFront Rising, and United Cambodian Community.
