B4BC Mission:
Boarding For Breast Cancer (B4BC) is a 501 (c)3 nonprofit foundation providing education, awareness and survivor support programs for young people. Founded in 1996, B4BC hosts year round grassroots events, educational outreach and survivor wellness retreats to further its mission of promoting early detection and a healthy, active lifestyle as the best means of breast cancer prevention. Art Blurb:
Since our creation in 1996, art has always been a part of the roots and foundation of Boarding for Breast Cancer. With help from our partners, photographers and artists alike, we strive to make live art and iconic imagery a part of all of our events. Art is not only good for the mind and soul, but often speaks to our heritage in action sports. The art and photos, some of which are uniquely painted and printed onto skateboards and snowboards, are auctioned off at our events and all funds raised support B4BC’s Outreach, Education and Survivorship Programs.
We are happy to ship or drop off/pick up decks where needed. We would love to get finished decks returned by June 25 and if any artists can’t get the deck finished by Dew Tour we have several events throughout the summer and October that we can use the decks at. If anyone is interested in live painting at the parties or in our booth we would love to have them join us.
