We want to thank Mayor Rex Richardson and the Long Beach City Council for acknowledging the significance of the creative economy at every level in our city. The approval of the FY 24 Budget will empower ArtsLB to showcase the essence of our city through our modern venues, exquisite murals, iconic landmarks, and cultural treasures found in every corner of Long Beach. This initiative will help us pave the way for visitors worldwide, as well as residents, to explore the best of Long Beach as we prepare for the 2028 Olympics and will continue to support the creative economy in Long Beach for years to come.

Long Beach City Council Adopts Fiscal Year 2024 Budget

On Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2023, the Long Beach City Council voted to adopt the City of Long Beach’s $3.2 billion budget for Fiscal Year 2024 (FY 24). The Adopted FY 24 Budget maintains current services while making significant one-time investments in key priority areas in line with the Long Beach Strategic Vision 2030, including commitment towards major infrastructure projects through the Elevate ’28 Plan.
