I believe the body is an extension of the spirit and vessels the capacity to connect humans on a mental, emotional, and spiritual level. Harboring a solidified technique in a variety of genres allows my body more freedom and opportunity to powerfully connect with the viewer. I find value in utilizing what lies inside the internal processes to organically influence myself externally as a performer through an articulate, dynamic, intellectual physicality. My movement is coherent, visceral, tactile, and allusive as a means of reflecting the tangible world we live in. My saltation suggests the spectator to confront an emotional residence. While dance can transport me into a beautifully originative environment, it ultimately challenges me to encounter my truest self, to be fully present, and rigorously vulnerable.
