Stephanie E’amato

When I became a mom all I wanted to do was capture each moment of my children’s lives and freeze it in time with a photograph.  That turned photography into my passion. I was on a mission to learn as much as I could about how to take a great photograph.  Then I realized that a great photograph isn’t just seeing something and taking its picture…it’s seeing something that creates a feeling within you, and you use that feeling to turn what you see into a beautiful emotion filled photograph that captures the viewers’ attention.

Now that my children are grown, my focus on photography is to capture the little moments that most people overlook, and I love to capture the essence and emotions of even the most common of scenes.  Whether it be people I come across or a reflection in a puddle, if I see it and it stirs an emotion, I create a beautiful photograph from it. I would love to travel the world one day simply to photograph all of life’s most grand, and small, moments that I come across in my travels.

Artist Work

Arizona (2023)
A color photograph turned to B&W in photoshop due to poor lighting conditions. Then I played with the imager further to create a pencil like drawing out of it. Photo was taken in Arizona during a road trip. Canon EOS RP.

Potters Hands (2022)
While working on an assignment, I was able to see and photograph this scene. The aged skin, wet clay, and spinning table all came together to create this magnificent photo. Taken with a Canon EOS RP.

Cuteness (2023)
I always have my camera ready. As a guest at a wedding , I saw this sweet little boy holding the ring box. His stance, his mom's arm, and the line of colorful dresses, and beautiful light all work to make this photo beautiful. Canon EOS RP.
