Messing with colors, making them move.

I moved to Long Beach in 2017, and since then my art has progressively grown beyond the limits of sketchbooks and small canvases on to much larger formats, though the square footage of my apartment has size limits. In 2020, at the start of the COVID lockdown, I was granted the opportunity to create a mural for the Long Beach community where I shared my message of growth and continuity. Sharing my art in a bigger platform allows me to inspire others and reminds us all that we can always expand beyond the surfaces.

My work is an energy from somewhere beyond that moves me and gets amplified on the surface, free from the structures of the reality we exist in. Tilt the canvas or your head slightly, and you get a whole new perspective, like what you see when looking through a kaleidoscope. I love creating in an array of mediums ranging from drawing and painting to 3d printing and digital work, as long as the colors keep moving.
