Sara e Vonepp

I am an artist, recent CSULB graduate, and small business owner. I am full time self employed and couldn’t have made a better decision than to fully invest in myself and my talent and passion. It’s an uncertain road and I learn as I go down it but I am determined to continue. I love to explore all mediums and subjects but focus on topics and issues I am interested or passionate about. My style varies between pieces though I like to explore the natural world and our relationships with it, religious iconography, darker aspects of life as well as the light, and just plain fun things. After finishing college with a degree in illustration I taught myself how to screen print among other things and started making and selling my own t-shirts as well as stickers, prints, and original work. I will continue to learn and grow as an artist and develop my style and skills in order to not only become a better artist but better person as well.

Artist Work

Mothman in Blue (2020)
I created this piece to explore composition, color, and line work and eventually turned it into a shirt design which I screen print myself.

Nomad (2019)
A sculpture based off of a character design of a boy traveling on the back of a giant water buffalo.

Clown State of Being (2020)
This was part of a series for my final semester at CSULB that explored mental health among lgbtq+ individuals through the use of religious iconography.
