I’m POETUH. I express myself through a variety of art styles.. I use my experiences/emotions to create authentic pieces that speak to those that gravitate towards the energy the pieces exude. I avoid putting labels on my pieces or giving them descriptions so that the admirer can interpret the art within THEIR experience in THAT moment. I use linage, frequently, due to the stability it sustain for me. The repeating lines provide a sense of flow, which is something i use in my reality; healthy habits that support my spiritual growth. This style meets watercolors as well, implementing smoother fluid energy. I find it exhilarating how both styles compliment each other. When releasing pieces, I’ve become comfortable with dropping in series. Simply because my expression is thrown into the world through segments. So far, I’ve released 2 series; “Isolation” (2018/19) & “Finding U”(2020).
“Isolation” focuses on being with one’s self and maneuvering with little or without society’s impact; abstract style. “Finding U” confronts a new style in which I found comfort in, it created a space in which all emotions can b me conceived by myself and others; found my primary style, linage. I’m expecting to release another series soon but the date varies; linage & watercolors.
Everything I express reflects my journey; mentally, physically, and spiritually.
