Born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska, artist Nick Sawyers has been living and working in Long Beach, California for over a decade. Drawing from his passion and strong hold in the BMX and off road community combined wide range of skills and dedication to constantly expand and challenge his abilities. I painted this one just because I thought Long Beach needed it. Especially after covid and everyone getting back outside. Just about everytime I ride my bike past it, someone is taking a photo of it.
National parks mural 1/5 Death Valley

This is one of five massive national park murals I completed in corporate park Irvine. Each mural is a different national park in the state of CA and includes elements of the parks. All the colors used correspond to the building's exterior to complete the look in and out.

Time is too short wall in Everett WA

This was the mural I worked on at the going all city event in Everett WA. Only had 2 days to complete it and our team got down. Simple reminder that "time is too short" and to take nothing for granted.
