About the Artist

I am a culture bearer, keeper of the flame and the groove who identifies as: global, human, Black, woman, multi-disciplined, artist and arts resource. I most frequently perform spoken word and song using voice, air, mics and their stands. I draw deeply from Southern California. My life-long home is an epicenter of retained African practice, the living legacy of the Black Arts Movement and strong evidence of honored cultural autonomy. My mission is to drink and pour from this rich sustenance – for my own wellness and that of audiences who like me, bring honesty, imagination and fun to our shared curiosity about healing, collaboration and peace.
