ABOUT US:
MAC Dance Company (@themacdanceco / www.macdanceco.com) is an Award-Winning, All-Ages Cultural Dance Fusion Company in Long Beach, Los Alamitos and Huntington Beach, focused on Ballroom, Latin, Polynesian, Hip Hop, Jazz, Acro & More! We provide classes, workshops, teams, private lessons, performances, events, competitions and more for infants, toddlers, kids, teens & adults of all backgrounds, identities and abilities.

OUR STORY:
In April 2012, Chlesea McIntyre began teaching Latin, Hip Hop, Ballroom, Acro, Ballet Folkorico and Polynesian dance classes in Long Beach, CA to a handful of local families She worked alongside a partner, growing that team into a powerful force of positivity, creative expression, and cultural artistry in LA & Orange County Her work within that team led to 5 National Championship titles, 2 Junior Olympics gold medals, and countless performances and memories made.

In March 2024, the team was reassembled as MAC Dance Company, with a renewed focus on creative expression, whole-being wellness, cultural education and community building We’re dedicated to crerating a safe, encouraging space for dancers of all backgrounds to explore the artistry, athleticism and community dynamic that dance so naturally develops Our teams are consistently growing – in scale, in skills, in memories and in goals as individuals and teammates We are a dance family first and foremost, and continue to explore ourselves as we create dance together!

What is Cultural Dance Fusion:
Cultural dance fusion is a dance style that blends elements from multiple cultural and traditional dance forms to create something new and dynamic It incorporates movement, music, and techniques from different dance traditions, allowing for creative expression while respecting and celebrating diverse cultural roots.
