In 2017, I started a blog titled OBRA: The Art of Work, a photodocumentary project that tells the story of women’s career path experiences in their own words, via blog posts at obrastories.com. I love hearing about what people do for work – the variety of ways that people earn a living seems limitless. I’m on a quest to find as many women as I can with all sorts of different jobs, collect their experiences with the work they do all day long, and share them. I want to know what drives them, what exactly it is they do for over 2,000 hours a year, what led them to where they are and what they are shooting for next. There’s a story in everyone that’s waiting to be told.
