Jamuna Priti

Jamuna Priti is a second-generation Filipina Muralist born and raised in Long Beach, Ca. She is heavily inspired by traditional Vedic art. As an artist, she seeks to build bridges between all different types of people, and her art is motivated by a desire to inspire the human spirit. Jamuna believes art has the power to heal, provoke, challenge, and offer hope to the soul, and it’s this responsibility that fuels her passion.

In her most well-known series, “Love Notes”, Jamuna uses a combination of inspirational quotes and earth-toned shapes to touch the hearts of the people and elicit deep feelings of love & inspiration. She has created over 150 pieces for this series and counting.

Jamuna has been painting for the LA community and various Vedic temples across the country for over 10 years. Aside from her Love Notes series, Jamuna’s other projects range from hand-painted signage & commissioned pieces for local businesses, to traditional Sanskrit mantra art, to teaching art classes to the youth— a project very close to her heart.
