Glenn Holdaway

Glenn Holdaway is a Grammy-Nominated trumpet player, artist, composer and educator who is passionate about all things music. Some of his recent accolades can be boiled down to performing at the Hollywood Bowl, playing on a Super Bowl commercial, recording & arranging horns on 100+ projects in the past year including popular artists like Stick Figure & Andy Grammer, Ambré, and Curtis Young (son of Dr. Dre) to name a few. He has also toured/performed with famous artists like Don Carlos, Sister Nancy, Fortunate Youth, Save Ferris, Soul Syndicate, and countless others.

Aside from his incredible career as a sideman, he is also a bandleader who released his first single in 2020 titled “Reggaematical” which has accumulated over 20,000 streams on Spotify alone. Glenn is planning to release his first EP in 2022.

Glenn hopes to use his success to inspire young musicians to always be the best that they can be; he has given masterclasses at local high schools where he encourages students to follow their hearts and never lose sight of the joy of music. Glenn also works closely with Long Beach’s “Jazz Angels” program where he mentors students in the art of jazz improvisation.
