I use photography as a means to document the ocean and it’s surrounding environment. I create images that capture the beauty of the ocean environment and focus on the colors, lines, shapes, textures and small details. It is through this process of discovery that I am able to eliminate the distractions and focus on the true beauty of nature.
I have been influenced by many great photographers such as William Eggleston and Edward Weston. My photography work is also inspired by painters, specifically by Salvador Dali. As a result, I use these two different styles of art to conceptualize my photography which in turn allows me express myself as an artist.
