DreamFunk

Hi, I’m Hanna! the creator behind DreamFunk, a multidimensional art project I began as a form of escapism. I was in a dark place, but full of big ol’ dreams. I was doing anything and everything I could to get lost in a world of color, creation, and whimsy. My work honors my inner child; the curious, colorful, lil gal who had no fear, and who never stopped dreaming.

DreamFunk is a state of being — a crossroads between being stuck in a dream and stuck in a funk. It blurs the lines between reality & fantasy; creating space to escape, to dream, to heal, be strange, and to be radically, unapologetically, & uniquely yourself!

I work across many mediums: upcycled streetwear, handmade jewelry, resin art, and dreamy, one-of-a-kind gifts and wares. I’ve also dabbled in photography and film production, with a growing interest in those, as well as set design and art installations. I have many more worlds to build!

My crown jewel project so far is the DreamChaser – an immersive mobile art installation and interactive dreamscape on wheels. It’s an otherworldly portal to a much kinder dimension, and a love letter to our inner children across the globe. It also serves as a unique multi-functional space for many different uses. I recently released my first song and plan to dive deeper into music this year, blending sonic storytelling with my visual world.

I’m excited to keep creating, experimenting, and inviting others into the DreamFunk dimension; a space where everyone is welcome to get lost, find themselves, and make a lot of new magic & new friends along the way 🙂
