Sumi Ink Horsebutt Engineer Boots (2024)
Using Yuen-boku Sumi Ink, made from the soot of burning vegetable oils, we stone-grind the Sumi ink stick in water to make the ink before hand-dyeing and hand-washing the Guidi & Rosellini vegetable tanned Horsebutt leather over three weeks.

A lace-to-toe style “Monkey” boot that we handcraft with a 270º hand-sewn “Baseball” stitch seam on Maryam vegetable-tanned Horsebutt leather.
