Christopher Yates

I am a international comic actor, entertainer and musician with over twenty five years full time experience. Drama and Circus School trained I have performed on four continents in three different languages, in a variety of performance genres, from corporate to carnival, theater to film. Clients include The Lord Mayor of Sydney, BBC studios, London, and the S.F. 49ers. ​​

My wide and unique performance skill set, along with years of live local and international engagements allow me to adapt to offer acts, characters and performances for festivals, educational children’s theater, schools, libraries, comedy clubs, roving engagement and much more.

I am also a world class circus arts based comic offering juggling, stilt walking, diabolo and uni cycle performances. Skills which I combine within the context of unique, original stage or roving performances for all age groups.

Local clients include The Long Beach Grand Prix, Shoreline Village, The LB Scottish Highland Games, Bixby Knolls First Friday, The LB Symphony and many, many more.

Character Based Roving Stilt Performances (2016)
Christopher offers a variety of unique, original stilt character performances to suit a range of occasions and events. His works in this genre are not simply, "colour on stilts", but recognisable, original, interactive character acts that provide the audience with a unique theatrical experience.

Dr Rusty's Dinosaur Safari (2018)
The Dinosaur Safari is just one of Christopher's' theme based educational children's theater performances. Other titles include The Butterfly Effect - A show about the effects of climate change, and Rusty Blades' High Seas Pirate Adventure. All Christopher's educational performances features audience participation, music, science, multi skills and more.
