Breanna Quintero

As a Latina artist based in Long Beach, CA, my work is a reflection of my deep commitment to the communities that have shaped me and their rich history. Through both my photography and muralism, I seek to document the stories, struggles, and triumphs of the people around me, while creating vibrant visual spaces that celebrate and commemorate cultural identity, reliance, and hope. I aim to amplify the overlooked and misunderstood voices of our city. My work is not just about artistic expression; it’s a call to better our communities through visual storytelling, creating shared spaces where people can feel connected, proud and empowered. By engaging in these practices, I strive to contribute to a positive change, enriching the cultural fabric of Long Beach and beyond, one image and mural at a time.
