Andy Rines

Andy’s work is inspired by bold color combinations, assemblage/ postmodern art, experimentation and found objects. Andy’s work can be described as reactionary, impulsive. When he’s creating, he vigorously surrenders his memories, emotions, love of camp and dreams and transfers them onto the canvas.

Most recently, Andy participated in the Long Beach Peace Project which helped to convert boarded up businesses into murals. Andy’s work has been exhibited throughout Los Angeles and published internationally. Andy lives in Long Beach.
