Joakim Ojanen is a world renowned artists in the forefront of contemporary ceramics. His work has been the subject of several solo exhibitions in Germany, France, Sweden, and the US. His work has been exhibited in group exhibitions and in art fairs worldwide including Greece, South Korea, Denmark, Belgium, and Spain. He is currently working on a body of work in the Long Beach City College ceramics studio for a solo exhibition that opens in mid June at Richard Heller Gallery in Santa Monica, CA. His work, along with the work of nine other visiting artist, will be included in an exhibition Gerardo Monterrubio is curating this summer at ARTX Long Beach.
