Five mural collectives. One big reveal. As part of State of the Arts 2025, the Arts Council for Long Beach is proud to unveil a vibrant new mural project at Marina Pacifica Shopping Center. These large-scale public artworks—created by five talented local collectives—will transform underutilized green space into a permanent celebration of Long Beach history, identity, and community.
This year’s participating collectives are Art Clout, Inspired LBC with LaJon Miller, KBH with Sharkpolansky, Munzon Gallery with Mister Toledo, and the Taco Bell Drawing Club. Each team brings a distinct style and voice to the walls of Marina Pacifica, guided by themes of aquatic life, neighborhood identity, unity, and local landmarks. These murals are not just visual enhancements—they are storytelling tools that reflect the heart of our city.
Visitors attending State of the Arts on September 19 will get a first look at the completed murals and have the opportunity to meet some of the artists behind the work. In addition to seeing the art up close, guests can learn about the process, the meaning behind each design, and the role public art plays in elevating everyday spaces.
This initiative is part of our ongoing mission to make art accessible, visible, and impactful. We thank Marina Pacifica for partnering with us to activate this space and invite the public to celebrate with us at the mural reveal.
