The Mantel Gallery is excited to announce our next show featuring artist Xiaoxiao Wu. Xiaoxiao Wu is an interdisciplinary artist based in Los Angeles, renowned for her unique blend of dark humor and cross-cultural compositions. Born and raised in Shanghai, Xiaoxiao moved to Los Angeles after earning her Bachelor of Arts from Western Oregon University. She completed her Master of Fine Arts at Otis College of Art and Design in 2020. As an active member of ARTDROP.LA since 2022, she continues to contribute to the vibrant Los Angeles art scene.

Xiaoxiao’s work spans various mediums, including painting, sculpture, and video. Her art delves into themes of identity, culture, and power dynamics, utilizing wit and satire to challenge societal norms and expectations. Known for her sharp and thought-provoking commentary, Xiaoxiao’s creations invite viewers to reconsider their perspectives on contemporary issues.
