Anna Katrina McBride

Anna Katrina McBride is a Visual Artist, Public Art Muralist and Installation Artist. Her primary medium is painting with acrylics and house paint on canvas, walls, or wood cut outs that feature vivid colors and interactive LED lighting to explore universal themes of nature. She is a Studio Artist based in Long Beach, a founding member of the Chroma Pop Long Beach Female Art Collective, and cofounder of McBride Arts, a mural team. Anna explores the role of artist as an architect of visceral and esoteric experiences and the physicality of space.

Alleybrijes - Alley Beautification (2023)
Acrylic on Wood Panel. The Alleybrijes are a public art installation and community mural project, featuring a series of 3 panel murals installed along a fence by the Starr King Elementary School as part of an Alley Beautification Grant by community organization, Puente Latino Association. Over 100 volunteers helped paint.
