¡Seamos Seguros! (una clase de poesía de “LA Transit”)

DSTL Arts los invita a unirse a esta clase que se dará a cabo exclusivamente en español.

Se puede cultivar una sensación de bienestar y seguridad dentro de nuestras comunidades mediante el auto-empoderamiento y el empoderamiento de los miembros de la comunidad. El aprender sobre las responsabilidades (las leyes básicas y reglas de tránsito, y los derechos humanos) que conlleva el conducir de un vehículo, viajar en autobús o tren, andar en bicicleta, o al caminar, puede aumentar la seguridad del tránsito en las calles de Los Ángeles y sus alrededores.

¡Seamos Seguros! Este taller tiene como objetivo el crear conciencia sobre las importantes responsabilidades de la calle que contribuyen a nuestra seguridad.

Esta sesión será presentada por poeta/artista Dra. Rosie Ramos, y con su dirección, serán inspirados a escribir reflexiones poéticas sobre el potencial del tránsito público y la seguridad de nuestra comunidad.

As part of our 2023–2024 Creative Impact workshop series, this session encourages all participants to consider the history and impact of our local transit systems, urban planning, climate change, and more while creating new works of art that will inspire our fellow community members and leaders to be proactive in increasing public transit rider safety, reducing pollution, and cleaner, safer neighborhoods for all.
