Please join us for the 2024 Youth Poet Laureate Finals Ceremony, presented by the Long Beach Public Library. This free event is open to the public and will be held at the Edison Theater (213 E Broadway) downtown on Thursday, May 9, from 6-7:30 pm. The presentation will feature a poetry reading by the 2024 youth poet finalists as well as the outgoing Youth Poet Laureate, Claire Beeli. Judges will announce the new Youth Poet Laureate and four poetry ambassadors.
