Over 110 years old, the Port of Long Beach is the second busiest port in the United States and is home to more than 1,000 various species of land and marine life, including the Pacific Rock Crab. It can be found eating crustaceans such as hermit crabs and bivalves, snails, and echinoderms throughout the coastline. While increasing pedestrian safety, this crosswalk mural conveys the relationship between land and sea life.
